Job Description - Assistant Accountant

Key responsibilities: -

  • Corporate/ Retail working experience will be an advantage.
  • Review sales invoices and handle daily accounting operations.
  • Review and process payment requisitions
  • Handle bank, Credit Card Payment Reconciliations
  • Liaise with auditors during interim / annual audit
  • Handle ad hoc projects as assigned

Core competencies: -

  • Holder of one of the following (i) LCCI higher certificate, (ii) HKAAT or (iii) student member of professional accounting body
  • At least 2 years accounting experience, preferably in retail industry
  • Strong computer skills including Excel
  • Knowledge of ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics Odoo) is preferable
  • Self-initiative, willing to learn and with analytical mind
  • Willing and able to work overtime and under pressure 
  • Good command in written and spoken English, and good in Mandarin is preferable
