This role sits within the front office and will be working in a dynamic and busy trading floor environment. As an Analyst in the Global Cash Equities Sales CRM (Client Relationship Management) team, your key role will be to analyse client data and partner with the equity distribution team in creating proactive client coverage strategies driven by the data in order to support higher client rankings. The successful candidate will work most closely with the sales and sales trading teams across Asia but will also be required to work closely with research, as well as with our global sales and CRM teams in the US and Europe. Job responsibilities Manages the day-to-day data around clients - broker review inputs, maintaining data recording our progress. Prepares for and attend client review meetings along with salespeople, write up meeting notes and develop relationships with clients as a client relationship manager. In time you will be expected to be able to contribute actively to these meetings. Analyses client data from a variety of inputs including Consumption and Revenue data, in order to understand our coverage strengths and weaknesses and spot gaps, thus supporting sales in a timely manner to adjust coverage and formulate a strategy to support positive momentum in broker rankings. Supports sales management on ad hoc requests relating to client coverage and our tracking thereof, this could include maintaining coverage information, priority lists, and driving communication thereof across the sales team. Supports sales and clients on CSA related issues, this will involve global connectivity with CRM, legal, and equity business managers. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance/Economics or a related field. Entrepreneurial drive with strong analytical and quantitative skills. Experience working within an investment bank. Demonstrable proficiency with market and product lingo. Demonstrates creativity in solving problems. Always looks for new ways of doing things. Basic knowledge of equity markets and developments in the equity environment, particularly as it pertains to clients. Ability to thrive on the challenge of competitive pressures and remain focused on client needs. Ability to communicate concepts and ideas, both verbally and via documentation, and be able to defend their validity and target messages to different audiences. Ability to interact comfortably with business clients and management. Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently. English fluency is essential.
