Director - Wealth Management Business Development

Job Duties: 

1. Assist the Head of Wealth Management to oversee the Wealth Management front line business management.
2. Keep track of the use of capital resources, balance sheet items and progress on KPI. Analysis and advice WM Management on any potential problem found.
3. Prepare departmental budget and keep track of cost allocation and control.
4. Prepare performance report and presentation material to the Management.
5. To assist the Head of Sales Admin to monitor daily sales activities, including the analysis of sales trend, product mix in related to the business objective. Analysis of individual sales / product performance.
6. Lead the task force members to propel new business initiatives, conduct feasibility study and write up reports to Management. Taking care of new product appraisal process.
7. Prepare performance report and presentation material to the Management.
8. Coordinate with functional departments (such as Risk Management Department , Legal and Compliance Departments and Operations Departments) to develop and streamline workflow and procedures.
9. Any ad hoc project as assigned by the Head of Wealth Management.

 

Requirements:

1. Degree holder or above with major in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering or related disciplines.
2. At least 8 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private banking, wealth management or retail banking premier sector.
3. Independent, ability to work under pressure and sensitive to market changes with a proactive approach to drive business growth
4. Good command of both verbal and written English, Chinese.
5. Practical experience in handling IT projects for trading and booking systems.
6. Knowledge in programming in VBA and Python will be an advantage.
