WPB Chief of Staff

The WPB Chief of Staff function adds further strength to the management team as it plays a vital part in driving the formulation of business strategies and managing business performance. The team supports the business to grow revenues and profitability, while meeting de-risking objectives and maintaining an effective risk management framework. Key responsibilities cover the below areas:

• • Support formulation, agreement, and implementation of strategic plans for the business
• • Cost structure transformation and management to future proof the bank
• • Risk governance to support the management team in risk oversight and decision making
• • Provide oversight of fraud management and operations activities

Equipped with experience and knowledge needed, you will have the opportunity to manage and coordinate cross-business activities in WPB, including interacting with and influencing management team across countries, regulators, and other stakeholders. We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Fraud Operation Officer .

• Responsible for identifying fraudulent activity on various products, across multiple platforms, to protect Company assets and our customers
• Initiates and/or receives contact from customers, potential victims and external parties while monitoring various queues, reports and items as part of the fraud prevention process
• Leads by example and may assist with training and other departmental support as needed

• Completed HKCEE / HKDSE with at least five subjects at Grade E / Level 2 / 'Attained' or above including Chinese, English and Mathematics
• Strong self-motivation, with ability to work independently and under pressure
• Good interpersonal, negotiation and problem solving skills
• Ability to be resilient in face of difficult situations
• Good knowledge of application software such as MS Word, Excel and Access
• Proficiency in both English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua an advantage
• Candidates with prior telemarketing or call centre exposure are welcome to apply
• Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
