General Manager - Fitness and Gym

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and passionate General Manager/Deputy General Manager - Fitness and Gym for a new business and project by leading our fitness and gym operations in Macau. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fitness management, exceptional leadership skills, and a genuine interest in helping our members achieve their fitness goals.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategies to enhance member engagement, retention, and overall gym performance.
• Lead and motivate a team of fitness trainers, front desk staff, and maintenance personnel.
• Track record in managing multi-cultural customers and ensure exceptional customer service, member satisfaction, and a welcoming environment.
• Oversee budgeting, revenue generation with new and creative courses for attracting members/new members participation, and cost control.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and functionality of the gym.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to promote gym memberships, classes, and special events.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in fitness center management.
• Proven track record of achieving revenue targets, improving member satisfaction and managing multi cultural members 
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Passion for health, fitness, and wellness
• Less experience will be considered Deputy General Manager/Senior Manager
