Insurance Compliance Specialist

Scope of Responsibilities:

• To design and implement compliance programs to address market conduct, meet regulatory requirements and internal policies on sales compliance, conduct risk and personal data privacy
• Providing compliance advice to business units to ensure business initiatives are in accordance with relevant regulatory requirements
• Liaising and responding to Insurance Authority and other regulatory authorities on compliance related matter
• Implementing and reviewing compliance policies to ensure that processes are compliant with current regulatory requirements
• Identifying potential compliance risk via conducting compliance risk assessment and recommending actions plans to mitigate such risk
• Keeping abreast of the latest regulatory updates and changes to stakeholders and business units
• To take part in compliance projects like system enhancement, policy review, enhance compliance monitoring and reviewing business processes

Skills & Qualifications:

• Degree holder, preferably in the disciplines of Accounting / Finance / Law
• Minimum 5 years or above experience in compliance from renowned life insurance companies or other relevant institutions
• Familiar with regulatory requirements by the Insurance Authority and other relevant regulators
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation and presentation skills with experience in working with executive level
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
