Koch Engineered Solutions (Jiangsu)Co. Ltd (KES) is hiring a Plant Manager. This role is in charge of manufacturing related functions including production, manufacturing engineering, maintenance and facility directly. Working in a matrix organization, this role is highly cross functional requiring collaboration with multiple departments as well, such as project management, planning, engineering, supply chain, quality, EHS. The primary responsibility of this role is to lead Changshu plant manufacturing to achieve our vision.

Our Team

KES is a global company of the Koch Group with more than 4000 employees. We have 70+ employees in the Changshu plant and over 150 employees in Shanghai and Singapore office.

What You Will Do

• Lead by example, promote Principle Based Management (PBM) culture in the plant to contribute to the business.
• Responsible to create right work atmosphere to develop, motivate the personnels and maximize their contributions.
• Innovative thinking to identify the opportunities for transformation to support long term business development and success.
• Ensure the activities of the plant to comply with the requirements of laws and regulations.
• Advance a culture of safety first and overall risk minimization.
• Establish plant capability and capacity according to global manufacturing roadmap to ensure implementation of global manufacturing strategy.
• Optimize the process and workflow to improve execution excellence, ensure that projects meet expectations in terms of quality, delivery, and cost.
• Look after to utilize production capacity in best way and strive for promoting productivity to highest standard.

• Apply economic thinking to optimize value stream management, minimize manufacturing cost and maximize capital utilization to improve profitability.
• Consistently collaborate across functions to remove obstacles and drive the expected business result.
• Provide leadership, coach, and influence staff by using vision of the company to motivate people to meet the expectation. xa0

• Continue to develop people and team capability to build a high performing team as well as a strong talent pipeline.

What Will Put You Ahead

• Proven strong manufacturing working experience and plant operation management experience.
• Demonstrated strong people leadership and communication skills. Able to build trust relationship, mutual respect, and cooperation among team members.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve results.
• Ability to think in a creative way to identify new opportunities to support the success of the business.
• Strong organization and analytic and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English language.
