Quality Assurance Manager

We are seeking for competent Quality Assurance Assistant Manager / Manager to manage and maintain the corporate quality management system, to ensure that the operation of corporate and food processing center are complying with relevant food safety regulatory requirements and guidelines in Hong Kong, and to manage the QA department.

Job Description

• Monitor and maintain the food safety management system (ISO22000:2018 & HACCP); direct each department in fulfilling the system's requirements;
• Monitor the operation of food processing center, to ensure all the practice from workers and supervisors are fulfilling the food safety legal requirements, customer requirements and internal standards, and advise on continuous improvement;
• Assist in the management of food quality, safety and hygiene in food processing centers;
• Ensure all divisions to execute their respective quality objectives according to quality assurance policy, and coordinate with various departments in fulfilling the requirements of complete food quality and regulation;
• Manage and review the document control and CCPs of quality management system;
• Follow up the complaints from customer on food quality and internal quality findings;
• Coordinate with customers/third parties on factory audit;
• Coordinate and manage the food quality verification and sampling tests;
• Coordinate in pest control services;
• Coordinate and manage the internal training of the operation staffs;
• Monitor the Product labeling, Ingredients list, Product Description, and packing material that are comply with Hong Kong regulations;
• Issue local food label and related packaging printing approval;
• Regular internal audit and external inspections;
• Manage and supervise QA department in completing quality related works;
  
• Ensure that all divisions are executing their respective quality objectives according to quality assurance policy and are on the right track regarding the food safety;
• Set up the food safety management system (ISO 22000:2018) for the new factory;
• Organize monthly safety inspections;
• Handle any ad hoc. tasks assigned by management.

Requirement

• Degree holder or above in food science or related disciplines;
• 5 years or above solid QA experience including 3 years management experience. Exposure to food and beverage manufacturing industry is a must;
• Good knowledge in ISO22000:2018, HACCP management systems;
• Good knowledge in product labeling;
• Good knowledge in Hong Kong regulations for food safety;
• Good command of verbal and written English and Chinese. Proficiency in Mandarin will be an advantage;
• Self-motivated, independent and with good communication skill;
