Regional Head of Talent Acquisition, APAC

Our client is a global retail company with a positive consumer brand image and strong employer branding. They are currently looking for an energetic and agile Talent Acquisition Leader to build a strategic recruiting function and provide strategic HR advisory services to the business.

Job duties:

• Partner closely with business leaders to develop recruitment strategies on talent attraction and generation to drive organizational and business goals
• Educate and influence hiring managers regarding talent market landscape and potential sourcing strategies
• Provide leadership support, coaching for Talent Acquisition Team, HR partners and business leaders as needed
• Collaborate across the company and work closely with the HRBP team to ensure we are crafting sourcing and hiring efforts that address the needs of our businesses while scaling for the future
• Conduct high quality and accurate reporting, analytics and metrics for management review
• Participate in, and represent Asia HR on ad hoc projects as required

Job requirements:

• Minimum of 16 years of talent acquisition experience, preferably experience gained from retail industry
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lead a range of strategic projects while maintaining a practical and hands-on approach
• Strong business acumen, ideally with solid APAC recruitment experience
• Excellent command in both verbal and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Analytical thinking with good numerical sense
• Ability to deal with ambiguity, strong project management, time management, and leadership skills
