Senior Officer / Officer- Industry Development, Construction Innovation & Technology Fund

The applicant must possess:

1. a recognised degree; construction-related discipline is preferred;
2. a minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience in construction industry, government funding operation, or statutory organisations;
3. proficiency in Microsoft application software (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, etc.). Knowledge in data processing, Power BI or graphics design would be an advantage;
4. good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese; and
5. Holder of valid construction industry safety training certificate fulfilling Section 6BA (2) of the Factories and Industrial Undertakings Ordinance will be an advantage.

(Applicants who do not possess the required qualifications and / or experience may be considered for other positions within the organisation.)

Duties include:

1. to handle the applications and approval of the CITF according to the set policies and procedures, including vetting funding applications and disbursement requests, preparing case summaries and reports etc;
2. to conduct site inspections in construction sites and applicants' premises including physical visits, preparing reports and carrying out necessary follow-up works;
3. to provide secretariat support to the Vetting Sub-committees and Management Committee;
4. to carry out any other duties as assigned from time to time by the Executive Director.

Applications :

The position is on a renewable fixed-term contract (subject to performance and operational needs) for a period of 2 years.
