Technical Senior Manager

Launched in November 2007, Cotai Water Jet is a premium high-speed ferry service between Hong Kong and Macao. As of Dec 2017, the maritime jet fleet has serviced more than 67 million passengers and in 2017 averaged approximately 94 daily sailings. Its 11 custom-built catamarans have the capacity to carry more than 400 passengers each and operate at top speeds of approximately 42 knots. Passengers on Cotai Water Jet have a choice of three classes of service as well as direct sailings between ports in Macao, Taipa, Hong Kong, Kowloon and Hong Kong International Airport, thus providing an important transportation option for both locals and visitors to Macao. The Cotai Water Jet service is managed and operated on behalf of owner Sands China Ltd. by Chu Kong High Speed Ferry Co. Ltd. of Hong Kong.

工作職責:

• (1) Have an overall understanding and oversight of all technical and operational aspects for
• Coati Water Jet Ferry Operation.
• (2) Drive continuous improvement in rotable spares inventory and consumables control and
• cost reduction by prolonging lives and/or finding cheaper alternatives that meet our high
• standards.
• (3) Evaluate and provide technical guidance for cabin upgrades/vessel modifications,
• operational equipment and introduction or sale of new/ second hand and existing ferries
• within the fleet.
• (4) Ensure contractors and suppliers are actively engaged in driving down costs while
• improving repair turn times, efficiency, reliability, standards and are competitive within the
• market place.
• (5) Have a full understanding of Emergency and Accident Procedures.
• (6) Monitor berthing, passenger boarding and on board operational procedures.
• (7) Evaluate and process R & M invoices
• (8) Observe, evaluate and report on operational and safety trends.
• (9) Monitor and advise on overall ferry operations; Monitor and audit vessel maintenance.
• (10) Monitor and advise on fuel suppliers and re-fuelling procedures
• (11) Review scheduling vessel rotations in respect of maintenance schedules and advise on utilization continuous improvement
• (12) Monitor and provide strategies on rating and senior crew training plans
• (13) In charge of the overall sustainability and ESG activities for the ferry company.
• (14) Have knowledge on pier maintenance and repairing would be an advantage.
• (15) Have prior working experience in High speed ferry operation and knowledge on MTU 4000
• series engine would be an advantage.

申請資格:

• 1) Diploma in Engineering or a related discipline, preferably with bachelor degree in
• Engineering.
• 2) Minimum 10 years of working experience in Engineering with minimum 4-5 years' experience in supervisory level.
• 3) Fluency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
• 4) Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

工作經驗:

• 1) Have prior working experience in High speed ferry operation and knowledge on MTU 4000
• series engine would be an advantage.
