Business Function
Group Legal, Compliance & Secretariat ensures that the bank's interests are protected by zealously guarding and enhancing its reputation and capital. We also work to maintain a good standing with all our regulators, customers, and business partners. Responsibilities 

• Liaise with Head Office / Business and Supporting Units to prepare AML data, dashboard and statistics, and perform reasonableness analysis for the Enterprise-wide Risk Assessment
• Review and establish bank-wide AML/CTF policies and procedures in view of the latest regulatory requirements, Head Office requirements and industry practices. Ensure the operational manual of the Business and Supporting Units align with the AML/CFT policy framework
• Render prompt and constructive advice to Business and Supporting Units on AML/CFT policy implementation and execution
• Oversight and co-ordinate key external and internal AML/CFT projects and initiatives, to make sure action items are on track and implemented effectively
• Prepare regular and ad-hoc AML/CFT regulatory returns, management reports and materials for AML/CFT governance forums
• Co-ordinate with relevant parties on regulatory inspection, external review and internal audit review
• Prepare internal training materials to cultivate high AML awareness and culture in the organization
• To assist in other projects and duties as may be assigned from time to time
• To have ability to work on several different reviews and different individual at the same time

Requirements

• A degree in Laws, Finance, Accountancy, or related disciplines
• At least 8 years’ of relevant compliance and / or AML experience acquired from international bank(s)
• Relevant qualification on AML/CFT e.g. AAMLP/ACAMS is preferred
• Good knowledge on legal and regulatory requirements of AML and compliance principles and corporate governance practices.
• Good understanding on consumer, corporate and private banking products, services and transactions
• Good compliance and risk control concept
• Ability to cope with highly demanding and fast paced banking environment
• Competency to work in a matrix international organization
• Demonstrate sound commercial experience and judgment
• Sound interpersonal and communication skills
• Good writing and reporting skills
