Full-time/Part-time Traditional Chinese medicine assistant dispenser

Job Description:

School of Traditional Chinese Medicine Recruitment: Full-time / Part-time Traditional Chinese Medicine Assistant Dispensing Staff member (File No.: 526637) is employed on a one-year contract. The contract can be renewed if the work performance is satisfactory.

Applicants must hold:

(1) A bachelor's degree in Chinese medicine from a university recognized by the University of Hong Kong, and have at least one year of work experience in dispensing Chinese medicine in Hong Kong or

(2) A diploma in Chinese medicine dispensing issued by an institution accredited by the Hong Kong Chinese Medicine Council, and have at least three years of work experience in Chinese medicine dispensing in Hong Kong.

At the same time, applicants must be familiar with the theory of Chinese medicine and have experience in processing, brewing, and warehousing of Chinese herbal medicines. Those with lower academic qualifications or less work experience may be considered for employment as Chinese medicine dispensary attendants.

The employed person is mainly responsible for decoction, dispensing, traditional Chinese medicine dispensing and assisting in the processing and brewing of Chinese medicinal materials, as well as daily work in the pharmacy.
