<p>DEPARTMENT : Sales & Distribution<br/><br/></p><p></p><p>Key Role Purpose :<br/></p><p></p><br/>The role is responsible for business development and achievement of regional sales objectives by recruiting, training and supervising a team of Branch Managers.<br/><br/><p></p><p>Primary and Business Development:<br/><br/>- Designing, developing and implementing short and long-term sales strategy for the region under the supervision of Zonal Manager Sales and thereby drawing action plans to achieve the business goals set for the year.<br/><br/>- Monitoring the sales figures in the region for identifying the dynamic factors impacting the business to revise and update the regional sales strategy<br/><br/>- Tracking the daily activities of the Branch Managers in the region for sales and recruitment targets.<br/><br/>- Supervising the performance of the Branch Managers in the region on the sales and distribution targets.<br/><br/>- Envisaging and developing opportunities for business acquisition and marketing of the company's products and services by scanning the market, carrying out competitor analysis, understanding their products and services and the prevailing and emergent market trends<br/><br/>People Management:<br/><br/>- Developing and guiding a robust sales team at the regional level and demonstrating strong leadership to sustain the same<br/><br/>- Identifying and recruiting the Branch Mangers as per the business requirements<br/><br/>- Providing on- field training on recruitment and also the sales approach to the Branch Managers for ensuring better performance on the job.<br/><br/>- Identifying the training needs and providing inputs to the Training and Development team for development and design of the training material<br/><br/>- Collaborating with the Training and Development team to ensure timely delivery of the requisite training programs to the Branch Managers, Front Line manager and Agents.<br/><br/>- Participating in the Performance Management Cycle in a timely manner and undertaking performance review discussions and documenting the same with the Branch Managers to ensure efficiency and productivity<br/><br/>- Retaining the high performing Branch Managers by continuous encouragement and support<br/><br/>Operations:<br/><br/>- Monitoring the branch offices on sales and distribution targets and measures on a monthly basis through sales MIS <br/><br/>- Oversee and ensure adherence to operational guidelines established by the company with respect to the Regional office<br/><br/>- Ensure all statutory and company related compliance in the Regional office<br/><br/>- Instituting checks and balances to ensure the standard procedures and practices are followed <br/><br/>Customer Service:<br/><br/>- Ensuring high degree of client management and customer satisfaction by providing guidance to the Branch Managers<br/><br/>- Utilizing the customer feedback for the sales strategy design and ensuring continuous improvement in company's products and services thereby contributing to client satisfaction in long term<br/><br/><p></p><p>Performance Metrics:</p><p></p> <br/>- Business Target Achievement<br/><br/>- Case Count and Average Premium<br/><br/>- Attrition rate within the team<br/><br/>- Recruitment in the team<br/><br/>- Agent Activation<br/><br/><p></p><p>- Quality of new hires in the Experience And Ctc:</p><p></p><br/>- Minimum Qualifications: Graduation<br/><br/>- Total Experience: 6-8 Years <br/><br/>- Preferred Industry: Life Insurance<br/><br/>- Specific Experience: At least 3-4 years in managerial position in Insurance sector<br/><br/>- Prerequisite skills: Knowledge of Insurance sector, products and services, Analytical, Leadership and <br/><br/>- People Management Skills<br/><p></p> (ref:iimjobs.com)
