Associate Creative Director-Graphic Design

What you’ll do:

Vista is seeking a dynamic and innovative Art Director to partner with our "DIY" product experience group. This individual will play a pivotal role in driving the creative direction and execution of our customer-facing solutions, particularly focusing on design generation. As the expert in graphic design and AI asset generation, you will collaborate closely with UX designers and engineers to leverage machine learning algorithms and generative AI techniques for enhanced design composition.

Key Responsibilities:

· Serve as the primary liaison between the DIY-Product Experience team and the Product Creation and Experience team (our in-house graphic designers), facilitating seamless integration of AI-driven design solutions into our product offerings.

· Lead the exploration and implementation of traditional and emerging methods of design creation, utilizing industry-standard software such as Adobe Creative Cloud alongside cutting-edge AI and generative technologies.

· Partner with our Principal UX Designer to conceptualize innovative design solutions that leverage AI to streamline the creative process and enhance user experiences.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, establish design objectives, and ensure alignment with overall business goals.

· Provide mentorship and guidance to in-house graphic designers, fostering a culture of creativity, experimentation, and continuous learning.

· Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in AI-driven design, actively seeking opportunities to enhance our competitive advantage.

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

· Proven experience (8-10 years) as an Art Director or similar role, with a focus on AI-driven design solutions.

· Current in design trends, social design, popular culture, new advertising trends and techniques specifically for driving customer engagement including personalization.

· Expertise in utilizing machine learning algorithms and generative AI techniques to create and compose complex designs.

· Proficiency in industry-standard design software, particularly Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
