Job Description - Brand Manager

About the Role :

We at Bhanzu are seeking a dynamic Brand Manager to join our team at Bhanzu. This role requires a visionary professional capable of understanding what truly engages our target audiences and overseeing the communication about our brand across all touchpoints. The Brand Manager will work closely with the marketing teams to ensure there is a cohesive and consistent brand message.

Company Overview:

Through Bhanzu, we aim to eradicate math phobia and encourage careers in math and STEM fields among learners from across the world. Bhanzu is bridging the gap between dreams and competence, by enabling students to realise their full potential and introducing them to science, coding and AI, throughthe lens of math.

We are a series A funded edtech startup with a mission to make high-quality Math education accessible to everyone. We offer innovative & proprietary online courses and programs that are designed to help students succeed in their academic lives.

About the Founder & CEO - Neelakantha Bhanu

Neelakantha Bhanu Prakash is the world's fastest human calculator and India’s mental math Olympic Gold Medalist. Alongside holding four world records and 50 Limca book records, Mr.Bhanu is also a TEDx speaker and educator. He believes that the skill he has been gifted with can be passed on and taught using the right methodology and initiates in the same direction. Giving his vision of completely eradicating Math phobia a headstart Mr.Bhanu has led numerous projects for developing Arithmetic skills in students across the globe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a research-based brand strategy.
  • Analyze how Bhanzu is currently positioned in the market and identify the strengths and weaknesses in our current branding.
  • Conduct consumer and market research to understand the needs and desires of our audience.
  • Design and execute marketing campaigns that effectively communicate our brand’s message and values.
  • Refine the communication of our brand through all channels including website, social media, and other customer-facing platforms.
  • Segment customer bases and tailor messaging to meet the diverse needs of different groups.
  • Ensure brand alignment within all internal and external marketing efforts.
  • Communicate the brand personality internally and foster a shared understanding of foundational brand ideas among all company employees.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Brand Manager or similar role in marketing.
  • Strong understanding of the full marketing mix and digital marketing tools and strategies.
  • Excellent ability to identify target audiences and develop campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate.
  • Experience conducting market research and using consumer data to inform decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments to align multiple strategies and ideas.
