Data Engineer

Hiring for one of the leading global financial services firms providing a wide range of investment banking, securities, investment management and wealth management services. The ideal candidate will be familiar with the full software design life cycle. They should have experience in designing, coding, testing and consistently managing applications They should be comfortable coding in a number of languages and have an ability to test code in order to maintain high-quality code.

Job Description:

▪ Team player who promotes communication between stakeholders

▪ 8+ years of experience in Banking IT, with a good understanding of the Corporate and

Institutional Banking activity.

▪ Expertise in Oracle database and SQL programming

▪ Proficiency in writing Python scripts

▪ Good knowledge of ETL design and development

▪ Working experience on PySpark

▪ Strong problem-solving skills

▪ Excellent communication and collaboration skills

▪ Ability to work independently and as part of a team

▪ Experience in implementing DevOps practices

▪ Experience with data modeling and database design

▪ Implementation knowledge in EDA, Machine learning (models as linear regression, logistic

regression/classification, KNN, SVM etc.), Deep learning (NLP, Computer vision, GAN, Neural

networks), Reinforcement learning, Statistical learning, MLOps

▪ Knowledge of data visualization

▪ Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering and recommend

new tools and techniques to improve our data infrastructure

▪ Good knowledge on ELK, Scala programming, Kubernetes/Docker.
