Role Summary: As an Email Deliverability Consultant, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our email infrastructure and strategies to ensure maximum inbox placement and performance for our clients. Your expertise in email standards, deliverability testing, and performance analysis will drive our success in delivering outstanding email marketing results. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive audits of our current email infrastructure and practices, identifying areas for improvement and recommending enhancements. Implement and enforce email standards such as SPF, DKIM, and DMARC for all clients, ensuring compliance and optimal deliverability. Monitor inbox placement rates and develop strategies to improve email deliverability across various ISPs and email platforms. Analyze email campaign performance, providing actionable insights and best practice recommendations to internal teams and clients. Stay abreast of global email trends and ISP regulations, incorporating latest best practices into our deliverability strategy. Address DNSBL listings, ISP blocks, and other deliverability challenges, implementing corrective actions to restore and maintain high deliverability rates. Develop and manage warm-up strategies for new IP addresses and domains, ensuring a smooth ramp-up in email volume. Facilitate client-facing interactions, advising on warm-up strategies, deliverability best practices, and campaign optimization. Maintain strong industry relationships through participation in online and offline forums, establishing a leadership position in the email deliverability domain. Requirements: Proven 2+ years of experience as an Email Deliverability Engineer/Consultant with a solid understanding of email infrastructure and deliverability best practices. Strong technical expertise in email standards (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), PMTA, and SMTP protocols. Experience with email platforms, deliverability tools (e.g., 250ok, ReturnPath), and troubleshooting deliverability issues. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations. Effective communication and client consultation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into actionable strategies. A self-starter attitude, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
