Job Overview: The Food & Beverage Sales Executive at Shalimar Hotel is pivotal in driving the hotel’s dining experiences to new heights. This role involves proactive engagement in sales and event management, with a focus on maximizing revenue through strategic in-house and local area sales initiatives. The executive will be instrumental in fostering customer loyalty by delivering exceptional service and nurturing relationships that lead to repeat business and referrals. Key Responsibilities: - Generate New Business: Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing team to identify and pursue new business opportunities. - Customer Relationship Management: Build lasting relationships with both new and existing customers to secure future bookings, which includes conducting sales calls, managing in-house promotions, and actively participating in restaurant service during peak times. - Community Engagement: Establish connections within the local community to broaden the customer base for sales opportunities. - Stakeholder Relations: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally. - Promotional Activities: Work closely with the Marketing Communications team to create and implement promotions that drive the in-house capture ratio. - Guest Engagement: Maintain a visible presence in the hotel’s public areas to interact with guests and identify additional business opportunities. - Event Planning: Coordinate with the Operations and Commercial teams to plan and execute all Food & Beverage promotions. - Revenue Maximization: Seek out and organize social events like birthday parties and networking events to boost revenue. - Market Analysis: Stay informed of competitors’ promotional activities and market trends to effectively position Shalimar Hotel’s offerings. - Sales Negotiation: Utilize negotiation skills and creativity to secure additional business and close lucrative deals.
