Your Opportunity: IT Infrastructure Manager / Expert

Key Responsibilities:

  • Infrastructure Design and Planning: Strategize and design the organization's IT infrastructure to meet current and future business needs, leveraging cutting-edge technologies for optimal performance and scalability.
  • Server and Data Center Management: Oversee the management of physical and virtual servers, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security in compliance with industry standards.
  • Network Administration: Configure, monitor, and maintain network devices to ensure optimal performance and security, implementing robust measures against cyber threats.
  • Storage Management: Manage storage solutions such as SAN and NAS systems to efficiently store and protect critical data, implementing advanced data protection strategies.
  • Cloud Services: Drive the adoption of cloud computing platforms to enhance infrastructure capabilities, enabling seamless integration and support for hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
  • Virtualization: Implement and manage virtualization technologies to optimize resource utilization and improve scalability across the IT infrastructure.
  • Backup and Disaster Recovery: Develop and test backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity and business continuity in the event of system failures or disasters.
  • Monitoring and Performance Tuning: Utilize advanced monitoring tools to proactively identify and address performance issues, optimizing the IT infrastructure for peak efficiency.
  • Security: Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect the IT infrastructure from cyber threats, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and data privacy laws.
  • Compliance and Regulations: Ensure adherence to industry-specific regulations and standards, maintaining compliance with data privacy laws and security protocols.
  • Capacity Planning: Analyze current and future infrastructure needs, scaling resources accordingly to accommodate business growth and technological advancements.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of the IT infrastructure, including configurations, policies, and procedures, to facilitate efficient management and troubleshooting.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to the IT infrastructure, providing timely support to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Disaster Recovery Planning: Develop and implement robust disaster recovery plans, conducting regular testing to minimize downtime and data loss during catastrophic events.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 10-14 years of experience in managing IT infrastructure, preferably in a global pharmaceutical or highly regulated industry.
  • Relevant certifications in System Administration and Database Administration (e.g., MCSE, MCSA, Oracle DBA).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in project management and prioritization in a fast-paced environment.
  • Deep understanding of industry best practices and emerging trends in IT infrastructure management.
