In this role, you will work within a scrum team to bring the designs and ideas to life for new or improved web applications. This work will support a mix of internal and external clients. You will work with clients, product managers, architects, software developers, and more to plan, design, develop, test, and implement impactful solutions that support companies with one to millions of employees. You will start your day on a scrum call to prioritize and track work. Within the team you work on, you will choose user stories to work within a sprint cycle. You will spend most of your day developing and testing your code. Every two weeks, you will be involved in the release activities. To thrive in this development career, you'll need to be an expert in modern JavaScript and Salesforce development . You will need to be familiar with RESTful APIs and open source standards such as Open API and OAuth/OpenID Connect. Experience with deploying to and consuming services from AWS is also preferred. Each sprint cycle could have a heavy frontend focus, a heavy back-end focus, or a mix of both, so you'll need experience working with front-end, scripting, and back-end technologies. You'll start each day with a scrum, working in a team to understand responsibilities, identify issues, and communicate coding priorities while choosing user stories to complete. You will also participate in other agile ceremonies, including scheduled sprint demos, where you will present your work to up to 90 stakeholders. Build teams that thrive. Experience. You have 3-5 years of experience in relevant skills gained and developed in the same or similar role. Must have at least 5 years of Salesforce development experience with Apex, VisualForce, Lightning framework, SOQL TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: Positive Self-Starter. You can manage your time well, prioritize deliverables, and multi-task with the best of them. In addition, you can present your ideas in a clear, professional manner on paper, in-person, and over the phone to team members as well as business partners. Strong Technologist. You have the ability to analyze new requests and create key architecture documentation and deliverables considering scalability, reliability and performance of systems/contexts affected for a complete solution design and architecture. 7+ years of experience in Software Engineering (Internship experience does not apply) 7+ years of experience in Salesforce Software Engineering (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) Salesforce Certified Developer or Salesforce Certified Administrator certification 7+ years of experience in at least one of the following: Salesforce development with Apex, VisualForce, Lightning framework, SOQL 2+ years of experience in Agile / Scrum 1+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent YOU'LL LOVE WORKING HERE BECAUSE YOU CAN: Have courageous team collaboration.
