<p>Retail Sales Manager for Karnataka with Matrimony.com </p><p><br/></p><p> Role Overview :<br/><br/>Custodian of P&L, Customer Delight and Brand Ambassador for the company in Andhra Pradesh & Telangana (APTS).<br/><br/>Key Responsibilities :<br/><br/>- Responsible for P & L for the AP&TS region<br/><br/>- Responsible for setting up new retail branches in the region including identifying the right location, brand positioning and launch Sales & Service operations.<br/><br/>- Forecasting monthly/annual targets and executing them in a given time frame.<br/><br/>- Loss prevention through implementing effective audit procedures and safety/security measures.<br/><br/>- Heading the entire gamut of activities of the region pertaining to formulation of local marketing and retail strategies for brand building, initiating activation activities, store administration, staff management.<br/><br/>- Expanding business by launching innovative promotional activities, campaigns, and increased customer experience management.<br/><br/>- Mentor, motivate and guide team members ensuring sales- business generation and achieving budgeted figures, and activity ratio on monthly basis.<br/><br/>- Competent in Customer Retention (Loyalty) program conceptualization & execution<br/><br/>- Planning and executing brand launches, brand awareness and brand preference programs and conduct regular market research.<br/><br/>- Expert in rural and/or outdoor marketing - Brand building, demand generation activities through 'Push-Pull' strategy and effective rural medias.<br/><br/>- Report & update on the daily operations & MIS preparation of retails functionality to the sales function team in HO and ensuring implementation of SOPs for store functioning.<br/><br/>- Mentoring, Training & Supervising the sales performance of team members to ensure individual & group targets are met and operational efficiency in process too are met.<br/><br/>- Overall accountability for ensuring that the accuracy and timeliness of MIS as per the organization policy or guidelines.<br/><br/>- Creating & sustaining a dynamic environment that fosters high performance amongst team.<br/><br/>Skills and Competencies :<br/><br/>- Functional<br/><br/>- Sales, Marketing, Business Development<br/><br/>- Leadership<br/><br/>- Business Acumen<br/><br/>- Behavioral<br/><br/>- Values - Integrity , Respect , Customer Centricity<br/><br/>- Good Communication & Listening Skills<br/><br/>- Executive Presence<br/><br/>- Persuasion Skills<br/><br/>- Service Orientation<br/><br/>- Emotional Maturity<br/><br/>Education & Experience :<br/><br/>Ideal candidate should have/should be :<br/><br/>- Degree in business or engineering and/or MBA with minimum of 10 years of sales/service experience.<br/><br/>- Managed a team for at least 3-4 years<br/><br/>- Spent at least 18 months in the Company<br/><br/>- Performance rating of not less than C or 'Meets expectations' in the last performance appraisal cycle.<br/><br/>- Able to speak fluently in Kannada and South languages will be added advantage.</p> (ref:iimjobs.com)
