Project Manager - Corporate Interiors

Hiring  Project Manager  for a leading managed office space provider in India for their  Chennai office. You will be responsible to manage workspace fitout turnkey projects for all of company's Pune offices.

Ideal Candidate will have B.Tech/B.E in Civil Engineering with 6 to 8 years' experience in handling  complete project lifecycle in corporate Interiors/Commercial fitout projects preferably from Design & build or coworking space background.

Role & responsibilities:

• Thorough knowledge in MEP and local authority approvals processes.
• Review of all drawings and BOQ for the project and taking the ownership of the same.
• Review and plan the complete project milestone, procurement plan and presenting it to the business team.
• Attention to detail and adhering to the quality of installation at each stage of construction. Ensuring the build partners stick to the specified makes and models during the construction stage without any deviation.
• Coordinating with consultants, Architects, and multiple vendors from initial stage to final handover to the client.
• Logical thinking and bringing in value engineering and cost saving mechanisms throughout the life cycle of the project.
• To provide constructability reviews and recommend mitigation measures during pre-construction and construction stage of the project.
• To be able to handle multiple projects at the same time.
• If needed, to be able to roll up the sleeves and help different teams in the company for successful delivery of the project.
• To be able to communicate effectively and efficiently with internal and external stake holders.
• Thorough documentation of minutes, effective communication on risk(with a mitigation plan) if any during the course of the project.
• Effective use of construction management tools/software.
• To be able to travel and handle projects in other cities(if necessary).

Preferred candidate profile:

• B.Tech/B.E in Civil Engineering with 6 to 9 years' experience in handling  complete project lifecycle in corporate Interiors/Commercial fitout projects preferably from Design & build or coworking space background.
• Person who can take a complete ownership of the project delivery in Pune city.
• Thorough due technical due diligence.
