Destination Manager

We at Gotyolo, are seeking a dynamic and experienced Destination Manager / Travel Consultant with a minimum of 2 years of proven expertise in itinerary creation for international travel destinations, including group and GIT (Group Inclusive Tour) travels. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Travel Tourism Management and possess strong connections with suppliers and Destination Management Companies (DMCs), particularly in the European region. As a Travel Consultant, you will be responsible for crafting exceptional travel experiences, ensuring seamless itineraries, and providing unparalleled customer service to our clientele.

Responsibilities

• Itinerary Creation: Develop bespoke travel itineraries tailored to the preferences and requirements of individual clients, as well as group and GIT travelers, including flights, accommodations, transportation, activities, and dining options.
• Destination Expertise: Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of international travel destinations, with a focus on European countries, including popular attractions, cultural experiences, and off-the-beaten-path gems.
• Supplier and DMC Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, hotels, airlines, and DMCs across various destinations, ensuring access to exclusive deals, discounts, and insider experiences.
• Customer Consultation: Consult with clients to understand their travel preferences, budget constraints, and special requests, offering personalized recommendations and advice to enhance their travel experiences, whether individual or group-oriented.
• Booking Coordination: Coordinate all aspects of travel bookings for individual and group travelers, including flights, accommodations, tours, and activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to budgetary constraints.
• Customer Support: Provide ongoing support to clients throughout their travel journey, addressing any concerns, resolving issues, and offering assistance as needed to ensure a seamless and stress-free experience for both individual and group travelers.
• Market Research: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging destinations, and new travel experiences, conducting market research to identify opportunities for innovation and expansion within the travel market for both individual and group travel segments.
• Sales and Revenue Generation: Drive sales and revenue growth by promoting additional services, upgrades, and add-ons, maximizing upselling and cross-selling opportunities to enhance the overall value proposition for clients, whether traveling individually or as part of a group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Travel & Tourism Management or equivalent experience in the related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Travel Consultant, with a proven track record of itinerary creation for international travel destinations, including group and GIT travels.
• Strong connections with suppliers and DMCs, particularly in the European region.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in travel booking systems and software.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for travel and a genuine desire to create memorable experiences for clients.
• Fluency in multiple languages (preferred but not required).
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
