Job Title: Sales Manager (Lifestyle/Fashion Brand) Experience: 5-10 Years CTC: Rs.4.80 to Rs.8.40 LPA Job Description : Role Overview: As a Sales Manager for a lifestyle or fashion brand, you will be responsible for implementing and executing sales strategies to achieve the company's growth objectives. Your role will involve managing sales channels, developing business relationships, and driving revenue through effective marketing and distribution initiatives. Channel Sales Strategy: Implement, execute, and coordinate tasks in alignment with marketing and sales plans, incorporating Management by Objectives principles Strategic Sales Planning and Execution : Develop and execute marketing and sales plans to achieve company sales goals. Coordinate and implement sales targets by channel and oversee day-to-day sales activities Vendor and Agency Management : Identify, onboard, and manage outside vendors, agencies, and freelancers to support marketing and sales efforts. Distribution Chain Management : Manage the entire distribution chain, including wholesalers, retailers, and online platforms. Monitor inventory levels and optimize supply chain efficiency. Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams in major international markets to support sales initiatives and market expansion. Market Analysis and Business Development : Identify new business opportunities and market trends to drive customer acquisition and increase brand visibility. Analyze sales performance and consumer insights to inform strategic decision-making. Expense Monitoring and Budgeting : Monitor expenses and revenues to ensure cost efficiency and profitability. Assist in budget planning and resource allocation. New Market Expansion : Assist in setting up new retail chains and multi-brand outlets, including market analysis and strategic planning. Reporting and Analysis : Prepare and present management information system (MIS) reports on sales performance, market trends, and key metrics. Candidate Requirements : · Passion for sales, marketing, and fashion with relevant experience in lifestyle brands, fashion, accessories, or home goods. · Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in other Indian languages is a plus. · Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in a dynamic and rapidly growing environment. · Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and organize sales activities effectively. · Industry relationships across various sales channels, including small, medium, and large resellers, online platforms, and digital retailers. · Experience in entering new markets, negotiating complex deals, and driving business expansion. · Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, communications, or related field. · Previous experience as a head of sales or in a senior sales management role. · Ability to influence cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively. · Flexibility to travel as needed. · Residing in Kolkata or willing to relocate to Kolkata.
