Job Description - Senior Manager/ Manager

MHA with 10+ Years of Healthcare Experience

• Undertake the development, implementation, monitoring and reporting of the Operational plans for the dept.

• Align dept. responsibilities to meet the strategic goals and interests of the organization.

• To clearly define responsibilities, processes, delegations and decision-making powers; and fully comply with organizational, business, tax and regulatory requirements. Accomplish human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.

• Put forth suggestions to senior management on strategic planning and business opportunities, risk management and continuous quality improvement.

• Work with the management team to improve operational systems, processes and policies to support management reporting, information flow and management, business processes and organizational planning.

• Undertake responsibilities for the development and implementation of appropriate management policies and practices including recruitment, training and development, performance management and remuneration for all staff.

• Lead the operations team and oversee its functions, resources and outputs including business and financial management, human resource management, facilities, information, information and communications technology, and office administration.

• Mentor and support the learning and development of team members.

• Manage relationships, contracts, compliance and interface issues with any vendors or suppliers.

• Drive revenue in line with approved budget and control costs to improve margins and profitability

• Undertake other related activities as required.

• Enhance patient care delivery system by providing admissions function interface with the nursing and professional staff; coordinating admissions functions with the emergency room, maternity, out-patient clinic registration, outpatient surgery, and other special care units; controlling bed reservations systems, financial reimbursement, and other supporting systems.

• Serve and protect the hospital community by ensuring adherence to professional standards, hospital policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements, and accreditation standards.

• Identify current and future patient admissions requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual patients and others in a position to understand service requirements.

• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and conferences; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

• Accomplish the hospital's goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

• Managing entire Scheme operations and collections (End to End). Key personnel for credit

sales, receivables along with aging bucket wise and monitoring disallowances as per the MOU’s.
