Senior Software Engineer

Job Title: Java Full Stack Developer with Expertise in Routing Algorithms and JGraphT Data Structures.

Job Description:

We are seeking an immediate resource with strong expertise in Java development, routing algorithms, and JGraphT data structures to join our team. As a Java Developer specializing in routing protocols implementation, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust routing solutions for our network infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and optimize routing protocols using Java programming language.
• Utilize JGraphT data structures to model and represent network topologies efficiently.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Conduct performance analysis and optimization of routing algorithms to ensure scalability and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and debug routing issues, providing timely resolutions.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in routing algorithms and network technologies.
• Document code, designs, and implementation details for reference and future enhancements.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and best practices adherence.

Requirements:

• Proven working experience as a Java Developer with a focus on network routing protocols.
• Strong proficiency in Java programming language and object-oriented design principles.
• In-depth understanding and practical experience with routing algorithms such as Dijkstra's, Bellman-Ford, etc.
• Experience in utilizing JGraphT library for graph representation and manipulation.
• Familiarity with network protocols and standards (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF).
• Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with software-defined networking (SDN) and related technologies.
• Knowledge of network simulation tools (e.g., ns-3, Mininet).
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
