Responsibilities

• Review, interpret and respond to detailed business requirements specifications (BRS) to ensure alignment between customer expectations and current or future ICT capability
• Provide input to the strategic direction of technology investments to assist in the development of the enterprise architecture and maximize the return on technology investment based on end-to-end knowledge of the current architecture
• Within the agreed enterprise architecture, define and design technology solutions to assist the business in meeting its objectives
• Develop, test, and implement technology solutions and report on delivery commitments to ensure solutions are implemented as expected and within agreed timeframes
• Work with the architecture team, development leads, and test leads to ensure that the implementation is as per the solution.

• Startup experience in environment that focuses on digitisation and mobile development
• Expert communication: ability to communicate technical aspects, risks, challenges, and selling points of the solution with ease and clarity. 
• Risk management and identification: Solution Architects must identify, evaluate, and assess risks to mitigate them and eliminate any factor that might hinder the successful delivery of the solution
• Mastery of the software development process and technical skills: Solution architects must possess vast knowledge in technical aspects of the project to be able to provide guidance, identify risks, and assess the technology infrastructure of the solution.
• Detail-oriented: The solution architect must be a detail-oriented individual. There are many components that influence and affect the solution, which is why the solution architect must ensure constant and consistent evaluation of every aspect, as minor as it may seem, to understand what is valuable and discard what may be insignificant.
• Solution construction and management: Solution architects are capable of shaping, designing, and managing a solution from beginning to end. 
• Assist product owners and development teams as they translate business requirements into software-specific requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Create detailed functional requirements and development artifacts such as workflow diagrams, business rules, data mapping spreadsheets, and/or wireframes.
• Be an interface between technology teams, service/support teams, and business units.
• Work with product managers to gather requirement and run sprint core meetings to understand the requirement
• Assist in developing architecture documents, functional specifications, design documents, and architecture diagrams, and maintain documents based on processes defined, i.e., azure and confluence.
• Continue to provide support to the project at all stages, with the objective of maintaining continuity of all information and the quality of the final solution.
• Work with development team members to develop architectural strategies and guidelines.
• Analyze and troubleshoot architecture-related issues in a timely fashion.
• Work in compliance with architecture principles, policies, and procedures for operational efficiency.
• Recommend new technologies to management to develop robust applications.
• Review and recommend improvements to existing application architectures.
• Provide training and support to business partners on processes and application functionality.
• Collaborate with team members and support each other with assigned projects and joint deliverables.
• Provide applicable training to employees and end-users, as required.
• Provide support to other team members, as requested.
