Senior Sourcing Manager

Position Overview: As a Senior Manager of Sourcing, you will play a pivotal role in managing the company's sourcing activities to ensure the availability of high-quality materials and services necessary for the production of our products. You will lead a team of sourcing professionals and collaborate closely with suppliers to develop strategic partnerships, optimize costs, and drive continuous improvement in our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and conditions, including pricing, quality, delivery, and payment terms. Collaborate with suppliers to drive innovation, improve performance, and address any issues or challenges.
• Sourcing Strategy Development: Develop and implement sourcing strategies that align with company objectives and market dynamics. Identify opportunities for cost savings, risk mitigation, and supplier consolidation while ensuring the availability of high-quality materials and services.
• Supplier Selection and Qualification: Evaluate potential suppliers based on criteria such as quality, reliability, cost, and sustainability. Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions that protect the interests of the company. Draft and review contracts, including master supply agreements, pricing agreements, and service level agreements, in collaboration with legal and procurement teams.
• Cost Management: Analyze cost structures and identify opportunities for cost reduction and value optimization throughout the supply chain. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, finance, and operations, to implement cost-saving initiatives and monitor savings targets.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including supplier disruptions, geopolitical instability, and regulatory changes. Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to ensure continuity of supply and minimize disruptions to operations.
• Sustainability and Compliance: Drive sustainability initiatives within the supply chain, including responsible sourcing practices, ethical labor standards, and environmental stewardship. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, such as ISO certifications and social compliance audits.
• Performance Monitoring: Establish KPIs and performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of sourcing strategies and supplier performance. Monitor key metrics such as cost savings, supplier quality, on-time delivery, and supplier responsiveness, providing regular updates to senior management.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, manufacturing, quality assurance, and logistics, to ensure alignment of sourcing activities with overall business objectives. Act as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience (8+ years) in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the FMCG or consumer goods industry.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with a track record of successful supplier negotiations and contract execution.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make data-driven decisions.
• Knowledge of sourcing best practices, including supplier selection, qualification, and performance management.
• Familiarity with supply chain risk management practices and techniques for mitigating supply chain risks.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Experience with sourcing tools and technology platforms, such as e-sourcing software, supplier portals, and spend analysis tools.
• Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) or procurement (e.g., CIPS) is a plus.
