Job Description - Technology Integration Specialist

Job Description

Role Summary

  • Corporate Technology Inorganic Change lead all aspects of the integration and separation of technology on behalf of the various divisions comprising the London Stock Exchange Group.
    • For acquisitions this includes pre-deal due diligence, operational and financial modelling, pre-integration discovery, systems and data analysis, application cataloguing, assessments and post-deal integration.
    • For divestments this includes systems, process and data separation activity.
  • As a team member of Architecture & Analysis you will need quick thinking, unwaning curiosity, adept problem-solving skills, and the ability to exercise wisdom alongside pragmatism and persuasion.
  • The role will be assisting architects and technology owners throughout the stages of the integration & separation lifecycle e.g. from application discovery and assessment to service onboarding/offboarding
  • Relying on your detailed understanding of the end-to-end LSEG enterprise, you will use your business knowledge and standard methodology for architecture and analysis to capitalise on opportunities, further departmental objectives, and establish a centre of excellence for technology M&A.  

What you’ll be doing

  • Assist with the integration of technology acquired through acquisitions or divestitures into the LSEG's repository or catalogue. This involves coordinating the smooth transfer of technology assets into and out of the organisation
  • Act as a gate keeper and working closely with technology owners and architects to ensure accurate records of technology in LSEG's technology repository. This includes analysing quality of data and providing guidance to improve data quality
  • Identify the requirements of downstream consumers of technology profile information. This involves understanding the needs of various customers, such as IT teams, business units, and compliance officers to ensure meets their data requirements
  • Develop and document procedures and guidelines to ensure that data related to technology assets is provided and handled accurately. This includes establishing processes for data collection, validation, maintenance, and access control to maintain data integrity and accuracy.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration to ensure alignment and visibility throughout the integration process between various team members
  • Find opportunities for process improvement and optimization in post merger integration activities. This includes evaluating existing procedures, tools, and workflows, and proposing enhancements to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and agility in technology integration efforts.
  • Serve as liaison between technology and business end-users, establishing a reputation for attention to detail and expertise in requirements and solution management
  • Provide input into project / resource estimating activities
  • Understand LSEG Architectural governance processes and ensure Inorganic Change activities align to these frameworks.
  • Act as an SME in this area to support Programme teams
  • Lead and support in cross-technology process improvement initiatives.

You’ll Bring (Candidate Profile / Key Skills)

  • Demonstrable experience working on M&A and Divestment work
  • Experience with collaborating in geographically distributed and culturally diverse working-groups.
  • Experience in documenting processes using multiple models
  • Efficiency in time management and project management
  • Experience in using tools for system/process modelling, data analysis, presentations
  • Extensive experience in LeanIX and ServiceNow
  • Dynamic and passionate individual with superb communication skills, adept at both independent work and collaborative teamwork
  • Good attention to detail but an ability to think laterally to address business problems
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Ability to work under stress and to tight deadlines
  • Creative, results driven, self-motivated, and solutions oriented
  • Demonstrates a can-do attitude, exhibits self-confidence
  • Drive pro-active action and thinking
