Role: Commercial Banking with Marketing Analytics About the role: - are seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our team and play a key role in a transformative project for Big4 Australian Bank. - this role, you will be responsible for leveraging your expertise in commercial banking data, and Marketing analytics to drive insights and inform strategic decision-making. Key engagement responsibilities would be: Strategy Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and develop strategic roadmaps for leveraging commercial banking data and analytical capabilities. Define and prioritize initiatives to enhance campaign management, advanced marketing insights for profitable targeting. Data Analysis and Modeling: Utilize advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to analyze banking data and extract actionable insights. Develop predictive models to optimize business processes, enhance customer experiences, and drive revenue growth. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop metrics for measuring success. Gen AI and Emerging Technologies: Design and implement machine learning modeling solutions to automate manual processes, improve efficiency, and mitigate risks within the banking operations. Research and evaluate emerging technologies, including natural language processing (NLP), and computer vision, to identify opportunities for innovation. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with stakeholders across business units to understand their requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions. Communicate findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders through clear and concise presentations and reports. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning. Job Requirements: Qualification/Skillset Required: - or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field. - years of experience in BFSI, with a focus on commercial banking and marketing analytics. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, and experience with data manipulation and analysis tools (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, SciPy). Strong background in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data visualization techniques. Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Australian banking industry experience preferred. Open to relocate for short term. Locations: Bangalore/Gurgaon
