Accounts Payable

Job Description:

Khatabook, a leading company based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, IN, is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Accounts Payable specialist. This is a part-time entry-level position, ideal for someone with at least 1 year of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities: - Review and process invoices from vendors in a timely manner - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies - Generate and issue payments to vendors - Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation - Assist with month-end closing processes - Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries and issues - Assist in preparing financial reports related to accounts payable

Requirements: - Confident and driven individual with excellent communication skills - Strong time management abilities and a focus on innovation - Prior experience in accounts payable or a related field preferred - Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus
