Job Description:
Zomato, a leading food delivery and restaurant discovery platform, is seeking a motivated and resourceful Live Chat Assistant to join our team in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. This part-time Associate Level position requires a minimum of 4 years of experience in customer service or a related field.
As a Live Chat Assistant at Zomato, you will be responsible for providing real-time support to our customers through chat, resolving their queries and concerns promptly and efficiently. You will also be required to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor while engaging with customers and ensuring their satisfaction with our services.
Responsibilities: 1. Respond to customer inquiries and issues via live chat in a timely and professional manner. 2. Provide accurate and helpful information to customers regarding Zomato's services, products, and policies. 3. Resolve customer complaints and escalate complex issues to the appropriate department. 4. Keep detailed records of customer interactions and feedback for analysis and improvement purposes. 5. Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless and consistent customer support across all channels. 6. Stay up-to-date on Zomato's latest offerings, promotions, and updates to provide accurate information to customers.
Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience. 2. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 3. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. 4. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. 5. Previous experience in customer service or a similar role. 6. Proficiency in using live chat software and other customer support tools. 7. Motivated and resourceful attitude with a passion for helping others. 8. Presentation skills and the ability to convey information clearly and concisely.
