This role is aimed at someone with a solid sales background ideally within Telecoms/IT/Technical Solutions environments who has worked with both Public and Private Sector customers.

You will manage existing relationships whilst developing new opportunities, you will manage tender responses and have experience of sales tools such as SalesForce or similar

To qualify for this role you will be eligible to live and work in the Republic of Ireland and willing to go through Garda Siochana clearance.

What you’ll do:

  • The Account Manager core duties are to manage sales information, help the business make data driven decisions, drive sales efficiency and work with marketing to enable sale people.
  • From a sales information perspective the Account Manager is responsible for the end-to-end process of tracking sales opportunities and conversations rates throughout the sales funnel and analysing the data to provide business insights to the leadership team in the form of reports and dashboards.
  • From a sales efficiency perspective the Account Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of sales systems and processes, and proactively work to identify bottle necks in the systems/process and find ways to simplify them in order to make the sales teams more productive e.g. through automation.
  • Additional responsibilities include creating and maintaining documentation on sales processes, providing training on sales systems and processes, assisting with on-boarding new sales people, and optimising lead generation.

Who you are:

You are an experienced sales professional who is comfortable presenting at all levels both internally and externally. You will have demonstrable experience of maintaining and building relationships whilst developing new sales opportunities within a technical solutions environment. You will be able to hold your own technically whilst having a team of technical experts to call on when needed.

Key requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills – up to and including board level
  • Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Excellent at building relationships and communicating at all levels in an organisation
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight timescales
  • Broad experience of IT services and telecoms
