Job Description - Accounts Executive

I am currently recruiting for an Account Executive – Commercial Insurance , to join an organisation based in Cork. This role involves serving as a client executive within a dynamic team environment, focusing on commercial accounts alongside an account director. Responsibilities include managing and nurturing an existing commercial portfolio, overseeing sales activities, maintaining client relationships, ensuring exceptional customer service, collaborating within the team, and upholding compliance standards.

Sales and Activity Management:

  • Handle client insurance requirements, including renewals, adjustments, and claims processing, adhering to established protocols.
  • Provide support to account directors and ensure compliance with agreed processes.
  • Manage outstanding debts and premiums, meeting management audit requirements.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate trust and rapport with customers, addressing queries and concerns promptly.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor, striving to exceed customer service standards.
  • Ensure accuracy and quality in all interactions and tasks.

Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate closely with designated account directors and team members to meet customer needs and achieve targets.
  • Work collectively to maintain alignment with monthly and yearly objectives.

Compliance:

  • Work with team managers and compliance teams to uphold file record standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum CIP Qualification.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to embrace change.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines.
  • Solid technical and product knowledge.
  • Effective time and resource management skills.

Person Specification:

  • Prior experience with Open I.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Friendly and assertive phone manner.
  • Ability to foster relationships with insurers and clients.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow.
  • Strong work ethic.
