Job Description - Accounts Payable Assistant

Accounts Payable Assistant (German speaking) (ACP)

Due to continued expansion, we require a German speaking Accounts Payable Assistant to join our team, based at our Head Office in Dundrum, Dublin. 

 
Key responsibilities:

  • Posting of Supplier Invoices & Credits
  • Receiving and processing of invoices on to the financial system
  • Agreeing invoices to purchase orders and delivery dockets
  • Liaising with sites/managers to have invoices approved and queries resolved
  • Managing the payment of suppliers in line with credit terms.
  • Creditor reconciliations and adjustments
  • Managing incoming post.
  • Confirming supplier and subcontractor bank details.
  • Providing assistance to other team members dealing with correspondance to and 
  • Confirming supplier and subcontractor bank details. 
Qualifications / Experience
  • 2-3 years of accounts payable and/or general accounting experience
  • Fluency in the German language
  • Previous Construction industry experience ideal
  • Experience working with a high volume of invoices
  • Adest software and or other accounting software
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
