Audit and Accounts SeniorSpecial Requirements:Proven background in a fast-paced general accounting practiceAbout the Firm:We are an established chartered accountancy firm with three partners based in Co. Meath. With over 30 years of experience, we provide quality accountancy services to a diverse range of clients. Located less than 10 minutes from M50, we serve clients in various sectors, including audit, non-audit, sole trader, etc.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operational supervision of assignments, with a focus on audit, to ensure client satisfaction and meet operational deliverables.
• Managing client relationships, coordinating service offerings from other departments
• Involvement in training student trainees
• Preparation and presentation of reports to clients and partners
• Preparation and completion of audit/audit exempt financial statements.
• Preparation of tax returns, primarily Corporation Tax/IXBRL for review
• Preparation of budgets and cash flow projections
• Dealing with inquiries from clients, banks, Revenue, etc., including Revenue audits
• Preparation of Working Papers & Financial Statements in accordance with relevant procedures and standards
• Investigating issues on assignments and proposing solutions
• Ensuring completion of assignments within appropriate budget and timeframe
• Achieving fee targets for assigned portfolio.
• Preparing technical briefs and checklists for staff and clients

Qualifications & Experience:

• 1+ years of general accounting practice experience
• Own vehicle and full clean driver’s licence required***
• In-depth knowledge of Accounting and Auditing Standards
• Currently working as a senior in a practice environment
• Experience in operational supervision of assignments and managing client relationships.
• Some tax experience desirable
