Business Development Specialist – Privacy/Cyber/Data [REMOTE]

  • Fully Remote – Ireland
  • Guiding Salary range [DOE] is €45,000 – €60,000pa + commission OTE €15,000 – €20,000pa (uncapped)

Opportunity

Our client is a fast growing and established Consultancy, Software & Services company.

They are looking for the right candidate to help build their UK & Ireland business/territory.

This is an exciting opportunity to get in early to the Irish business of a company that looks after its people and strives to give them opportunities and enable them grow.

They deliver information security, information governance, data privacy/protection advisory services, software implementations and professional services for information management challenges to clients in Ireland and the UK.

Due to growth, we have been exclusively retained to recruit a Sales/Business Development Specialist. This role will suit someone who is in a; Sales, Business Development Specialist, Account Management role in high growth/lucrative market segments of; cyber/information security, data privacy.

Excellent opportunity and fast progression for a strong sales professional skilled in Sales, Partner Management, Go-to-market Strategy and Channel Sales.

Experience/Qualifications

Experience in Sales/Business Development, with a track record in selling software and services, in some of the following;

  • Cloud Solutions • Managed IT • IT & Data Security • Data Protection & Privacy • Network Security • Information Security • Business-to-Business (B2B) • Software as a Service (SaaS) • Enterprise Software • Professional Services

The ideal candidate will have experience selling software and services within the cyber/information security, or data privacy/protection advisory domains , ideally as part of a solution sale, and ambitious to make the move into an environment with great potential and with the opportunity for the right person to progress rapidly within the business.

Ideally, you will be someone that can cover every part of the sales pipeline, Specifically;

  • Degree in business, marketing, Technology or related field.
  • Proven experience in developing account penetration strategies, making sales presentations, closing techniques, and developing service and pricing proposals.
  • Ability to credibly articulate and conduct face to face meetings with senior management and executive levels.
  • Self-motivated individual who exhibits exceptional communication and relationship management skills
  • Minimum 2-3 years + of experience in a sales, business development or sales support, enterprise/account management role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Knowledge of at least two of the following desirable:

  • Solution sales – software + professional services + support
  • Document and records management technology – ideally including one or more of Micro Focus (TRIM / Content Manager / Records Manager), iManage, SharePoint, RecordPoint
  • File analysis and data discovery software
  • Information governance / records management theory
  • Data protection and privacy regulations and associated technology (ideally OneTrust)
  • Security and Compliance functionality around the Microsoft 365 platform

Package/Reward/Progression:

Extremely competitive Salary plus uncapped Commission Package on offer to the successful candidate together with genuine opportunities for career progression and development.

Guiding Salary range [DOE] is €45,000 – €60,000pa + commission OTE €15,000 – €20,000pa (uncapped)
