Chef Assistant – 4* Grand Hotel, Malahide

Are you an experienced chef and looking for a new challenge this year? if so, we've just the role for you. An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Chef Assistant to join our culinary team in our state of the art kitchen. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years previous in a similar role as kitchen assistant within a 4* or 5* hotel environment.

Please note that shifts hours for this role may vary.

Responsibilities will include:

· To deliver creative dishes in all food outlets as per the guidance of our talented Head Chef.

· To comply with H.A.C.C.P. and other regulations applicable to this role.

· To assist or be responsible for banqueting when required to do so by the team.

· Carry out to the best of your ability all reasonable duties requested by Management

· Assisting Chef in breakfast preparation

· Meet and greet guests at Breakfast Buffet

· To maintain a high level of personal hygiene at all times

· Ensure plates for hot food are heated

· To ensure the breakfast buffet service area in presented in a clean and tidy manner at all times

· To attend all training sessions and meetings as requested

The ideal candidate:
We are seeking an enthusiastic, food-loving individual with a strong commitment to quality, high standards, service and that all important flair. Excellent attention to detail is required as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to work within a team environment.
