Job Description - Client Services Manager

Client Services Manager – Elevate (Musgrave Media & Data Solutions Business)

We are now inviting applications for the newly created role of Client Services Manager within the Musgrave Elevate Team. Reporting to the Head of Elevate and w orking as a member of the Management Team within the team, this role is responsible for the development and growth of the marketing, media and data monetisation opportunities for Musgrave. Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Design and develop a client service and customer strategy for the media and data solutions business unit that delivers on revenue & profit growth targets.
  • Lead a team of Client Solutions Leads to deliver on budget in conjunction with the commercial teams and partner suppliers across all Musgrave businesses, and further grow Media Monetization practice in Ireland.
  • Oversee the annual Elevate plans of the key clients in conjunction with the Musgrave commercial teams. Work closely with the Brand Activations Manager to ensure activities are in line with Elevate annual calendar of events.
  • Develop and maintain business relationships with new clients including Government agencies and non FMCG suppliers to leverage opportunities to drive incremental and new growth.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key Marketing and Media agencies to develop and grow new business opportunities for the area. Represent the group at key internal and external events.
  • Proactively engaging with Media agencies ensuring the Musgrave Media proposition is front of mind in their thinking when designing client proposals & briefs.
  • Negotiate annual plans with clients (new & existing clients) and agencies – terms, rate cards, growth targets.
  • Work closely with the Head of Elevate, Innovations Manager & Commercial Finance Manager on annual cost and revenue budgets.
  • Performance analysis & management, putting corrective action in place to ensure sales and growth targets are achieved.
  • Manage and lead the Client Solutions team to ensure that they have the skill sets, resources and support needed to deliver in their role and achieve their objectives.

The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • Hold a 3 rd level degree in either a Commercial, Marketing or other relevant business discipline.
  • A specialist qualification in Media, Digital Marketing or Sales will be of advantage.
  • A minimum of 3 years in a Media Sales/Advertising role and in-depth knowledge of the Irish media market.
  • Experience of working with an online brand and/or knowledge of the retail industry would be advantageous.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a proven ability to deliver to growth target, on time & on budget strong commercial acumen.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders on strategic / financial decisions.
  • Project management, people management and strong selling skills are essential.
  • Strong attention to detail, influencing, facilitation and collaboration skills with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
