Description

The Corporate Finance Advisory team in Limerick is currently seeking an experienced Senior Manager who upholds high technical standards and is eager to advance their career within the world's fifth largest accountancy and advisory organizations.

In this position, you will work closely with the Partner in charge of the department, fostering direct collaboration. Additionally, you will play a key leadership role in the establishment and development of BDO Ireland's Centre of Excellence for Valuations and Modelling. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a sizable team and cultivate your personal brand as an expert in valuations and strategic sustainability. Key Responsibilities

  • Take charge of leading and managing high-performing teams, collaborating closely with Partners and clients.
  • Create and implement innovative valuation methodologies, modelling structures, and report formats for significant international projects.
  • Assume a key leadership position within the Centre of Excellence, driving business development initiatives, ensuring administrative excellence, enhancing standards, and providing coaching and mentorship to the team.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Holder of a professional accounting qualification with a solid academic foundation.
  • Previous experience in Corporate Finance is desirable, although comparable experience in fields such as audit or consulting will also be considered.
  • Proficient in financial modelling, demonstrating a strong skill set in this area.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to edit reports and collaborate on team writing projects.
  • Evidence of the potential to become a reputable expert in providing valuation opinions.
  • Being a team player is essential, while displaying responsibility, proactivity, drive, and enthusiasm are fundamental traits.
