We are recruiting for an experienced E-Commerce Manager to join the team in our Newbridge Head Office, Co. Kildare.

Job Overview:

Michael Murphy Home Furnishings are now recruiting for an experienced E-Commerce Manager. The role of the E-Commerce Manager is to manage the company’s online store. The E-commerce manager will be required to conduct research on effective website layouts and features, advice on evidence- based and experimental changes to our platforms. The ideal candidate will have a generalist E-Commerce back ground.

The role comes with a salary OTE circa of €70K

Responsibilities and Duties:

Managing our in house team of two - Retention Specialist, Acquisition Specialist and support them in meeting their KPI’s. 

Manage relationships with third-party vendors to ensure a seamless customer experience, such as Web Developers and Software Plug-in providers. 

Website Development and CRO Audits 

Website and Google (G4) Data Analytics

Website Architecture and Schema 

Implementing product merchandising strategies to achieve sales revenue targets 

Collaborating with our Brand Manager and Marketing team to enhance customer engagement via all channels. 

Managing effective email campaigns and grow our database. 

Managing our Paid Strategies across Google and all Social Channels 

Managing our SEO/SEM/SERP Strategies. 

Managing our online sales and customers. 

Analysing sales reports and developing data-driven insights to improve sales revenue growth. 

Achieve Sales targets for our online store. 

Management of annual department budget. 

Implementing product merchandising strategies to achieve sales revenue targets 

Managing the security across our website.

Develop and implement overall e-commerce strategy in order to improve performance. 

Identify new software to improve sales and the performance of the website. 

Drive customer reviews on Google and Trustpilot. 

Increase sales online while continue to drive customers into physical retail stores. 

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Business, E-commerce or related fields

At least 5 years’ experience in managing an online retail store and team.

Knowledge of web design and E-commerce platforms such as Woocommerce, Shopify, Magento, etc.

• Ability to analyze website performance metrics and data, and make data-driven decisions to improve KPIs

• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

• Excellent knowledge of SEO, SERP(S) and SEM

• Knowledge of both social media and email marketing

• Experience in managing a team.

• Strong presentation, analytical and reporting skills

• Knowledge of customer service principles

• Strong attention to detail and excellent time management.

• Excellent communication, organisation and presentation skills

• Confidence with developing E-commerce strategies and implementing digital marketing concepts.

• Excellent understanding of web design, customer flow and web analysis.

• Demonstrable track record of sales growth within a company and have experience dealing B2C.

• Google Ads, Google Tag Manger, Google Search Console, Google Analytics.

• Ability to analyse website performance metrics and data, and make data-driven decisions to improve KPI
