Our client, a well-known construction manufacturing company based in Co. Roscommon are seeking a Finance Manager . This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a group company.

The Finance Manager reports directly to the Group Financial Controller . This position will have full responsibility of the finance function and manage the finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate who has a desire to advance their career.

This is a permanent position, working onsite.

Your new job

Key duties & responsibilities:

• Supervise both Accounts Payable and Receivable operations.

• Compile monthly management reports.

• Conduct bank reconciliations.

• Complete and file VAT returns and associated payments.

• Handle revenue submissions.

• Execute month-end journal entries such as revenue reconciliations, prepayments, accruals, and payroll processing.

• Aid external Auditors during year-end accounting procedures.

• Oversee miscellaneous projects as needed.

What are we looking for?

• Accredited Accountant with certifications such as ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CPA.

• Over 6 years of experience after qualification, preferably within the manufacturing sector.

• Proficient in utilizing MS Office and various accounting software.

• Experience in payroll and job costing is beneficial.

• Demonstrated capability in managing personnel.

• Effective communication abilities and outcome-oriented with meticulous attention to detail.
