General Operator/Forklift Driver

We have partnered with one of Ireland’s leading chemical manufacturers, Biocel, as they grow their team in  Little Island, Cork. This is a  permanent day’s role (07.30 am-16.00) located a 10-minute walk from the train station.  Counterbalance license required and experience in picking advantageous.

Overview of Responsibilities:

• Comply with company quality policies and procedures.
• Follow manufacturing work instructions.
• Set controls and operate machinery.
• Be aware of all Health and Safety compliance in the warehouse
• Operating fork lifts
• Loading and unloading goods.
• Correct storage of product for ease of location when required
• Housekeeping

Requirements:

• Counterbalance Fork Lift License essential
• Hard working
• Enjoy practical and manual activities
• Able to work as part of a team and independently
• Able to follow written instructions
• Able to cope with the physical demands of the job
• Previous experience in food industry an advantage
• Good hand-eye coordination
