Locations: Portlaoise (Hybrid)

Overview:

Our client is the innovative market leader in the full-service provision of patented high-quality Steel Reinforcement Solutions to major construction projects across the UK and Ireland. They currently have a unique opportunity for an experienced Inside Sales Manager to oversee and support our inside sales team. 

The Inside Sales Manager will monitor sales metrics and manage the entire sales administration process. They will collaborate across the business, so it’s essential that they have excellent communication skills and feel comfortable working in a team environment. They should also be able to lead and motivate the sales team to achieve specific goals. Ultimately, the Inside Sales Manager should be able to build a high-performance sales team to ensure customer satisfaction.

As Inside Sales Manager, you will have a minimum of 5 years relevant Inside Sales experience consistently achieving above target results and proven track record of building and managing a highly aligned and effective Inside Sales team. The successful candidate will be predominantly office based in our Portlaoise HQ with the flexibility to work remotely whilst travelling to colleagues on site as appropriate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the inside sales representatives team
  • Set and track sales targets for your team 
  • Become a product & solutions subject matter expert
  • Suggest and implement improvements in the sales administration process
  • Coordinate department projects to meet deadlines
  • Report on sales metrics and suggest improvements using the CRM
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts
  • Use customer feedback to generate ideas about new features or products
  • Research and discover methods to increase customer engagement
  • Ensure sales, finance and legal policies and procedures are met
  • Build an open-communication environment for your team
  • Liaise with all departments to ensure brand consistency and increase sales

Candidate Requirements:

  • At least 5 years proven work experience as an Inside sales manager
  • BSc degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or relevant field
  • Technical, construction or building environment experience an advantage but not essential
  • Hands on experience with CRM software (MS Dynamics) and MS Excel
  • In-depth understanding of the sales administration process
  • First-class commercial acumen, negotiation, and customer-first mindset
  • Dynamic self-starter with a resilient target delivery mindset
  • Excellent relationship management and collaboration skills and a real team-first approach
  • Proven ability to prioritise and multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and team management skills
  • Numerical abilities and problem-solving attitude
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
