Kitchen Porter – Clayton Hotel Sligo

Dalata Hotel Group are seeking a Kitchen Porter for an exciting opportunity within the Clayton Hotel Sligo

Set on beautiful grounds overlooked by the spectacular Benbulben Mountain the 4-star Clayton Hotel Sligo has 162 bedrooms of which 96 are superior bedrooms. The Hotel has 6 meeting rooms, accommodating 2 to 600 delegates, all of which are situated in the purpose-built conference centre. We have our busy Bulbens Bar & Bistro & Sinergie Restaurant to cater for our guests.

Objective of the Role

Reporting to the Head /Sous Chef, the Kitchen Porter will support the chef and kitchen team in maintaining hygiene & cleanliness levels in the kitchens.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintaining a supply of clean ware / cooking ware & kitchen utensils at all times
• Responsible for the cleanliness of the kitchens at all times
• Work alongside the chef team to maintain HACCP standards 

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a kitchen.
• Flexibility in working hours as role includes mornings/evenings & weekends
• Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative
