Management Accountant

Location: Dublin

As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Management Accountant to join our finance team.

As a Management Accountant at S3 Connected Health, you will play a pivotal role in our finance department, focusing on management reporting. This role requires expertise in project costing, customer and project profitability reporting, contractor revenue, cost, and profitability reporting, as well as revenue and profitability analysis by employee. The successful candidate will work closely with various departments to help create relevant KPI measurements, provide insightful financial analysis and contribute to the strategic decision-making process.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Costing

• Take over existing monthly Project Costing reporting.
• Help establish and monitor project budgets, expenditures, and variances.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate and timely monthly reporting.

Customer & Project Profitability Reporting

• Analyze customer and project financial performance.
• Identify opportunities for profitability enhancement.
• Prepare detailed profitability reports for management review.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate and timely monthly reporting.

Contractor Revenue, Cost, and Profitability Reporting

• Manage financial data related to contractors.
• Analyze contractor revenue, costs, and profitability.
• Provide insights on contractor performance and cost efficiency.

Revenue by Employee Reporting

• Develop and maintain systems for tracking revenue by employee.
• Analyze and report on individual and team revenue contributions.
• Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate employee timesheet data.

Profitability by Employee Reporting

• Analyze employee-related costs, utilisation rates, timesheets and profitability.
• Provide recommendations for optimizing workforce profitability.
• Collaborate with department heads to align financial goals with employee performance.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Professional certification (e.g., CMA, ACA, CPA) is a plus.
• Proven experience in a similar finance management role, preferably within a project-based organization in the technology or healthcare industry.
• Strong understanding of project costing and financial analysis.
• Proficient in financial reporting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Infor SunSystems v4 Accounting software would be beneficial but not essential.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and capable of “system level” thinking.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
