SAS is now looking for Manager Crew Base Support ARN

The Crew Base Support ARN function provides front office support to SAS Scandinavia, Link and Connect Flight Crew (Cabin and Flight deck) throughout the week from Monday to Sunday, as well as back-office support to the Crew Management at Crew Base in ARN. The Manager’s responsibility is to lead and develop the function and its personnel in such a way that excellent services can be delivered in accordance with defined KPIs.

As Manager Crew Base Support ARN y ou communicate extensively across SK Flight Operations, Connect/Link and connected departments.

It is very important that you contribute creating an environment that promotes positive communication, encourages bonding of Crew and Crew Base Support, and demonstrates flexibility.

Main activities and work areas

The Manager Crew Base Support ARN is, through his/her personnel, mainly responsible for delivering services to SAS Scandinavia, Link and Connect Flight Crew and their Crew Management at the Crew Base in ARN. Currently the position also has personnel responsibility for 3 employees in Roster Maintenance, who report operationally to Manager Roster Maintenance CPH. However, this organisation is under review.

The Managers main activities:

  • Lead and develop the Crew Base Support function.
  • Secure the competence of the Crew Base Support ARN personnel.
  • In close cooperation with the Managers Crew Base Support CPH/OSL, coordinate and develop the support for all three bases CPH/ARN/OSL
  • Health and safety responsibilities for Crew Base admin.

Education and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree
• Leadership (minimum three years of experience from either administrative, functional or project responsibility)
• Excellent skills in the English language (written and spoken)as well as excellent understanding of all Scandinavian languages.
• Innovative and solution oriented
• Committed and trustworthy with a high level of integrity
• Positive attitude, service minded and customer oriented.
• High level of social competence, thorough understanding of the SAS organization and good networker
• Excellent ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good knowledge and understanding for crew´s needs in their daily work and their planning tools
