Our client has a diverse customer base including kitchen and wardrobe manufacturers, DIY outlets, furniture manufacturers, and timber frame producers. Our client has established itself as a key player in the Irish market. As the Managing Director, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of the business to ensure its continued growth, profitability, and compliance with industry regulations. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, you will lead a dynamic team and drive initiatives aimed at enhancing colleague development, maximizing sales, and ensuring operational efficiency. Role and Responsibilities: * Provide visionary leadership and develop strategic plans to guide the company towards its objectives. * Implement effective management practices to foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence. * Identify opportunities for business expansion and revenue growth within existing and new markets. * Lead sales initiatives, develop strategic partnerships, and negotiate contracts to drive sales performance. * Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. * Implement best practices for inventory management, operation processes, and supply chain logistics. * Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to achieve targets. * Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions as needed. * Stay abreast of industry regulations, standards, and compliance requirements. * Ensure that the company operates in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. * Foster a positive work environment that promotes learning, growth, and career development. * Provide mentorship, training, and support to colleagues to enhance their skills and capabilities. Ideal Candidate: * Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field; MBA preferred. * Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar leadership role within the manufacturing or distribution industry. * Proven track record of successfully running and transforming businesses, particularly in periods of change or growth. * Strong business acumen, financial literacy, and strategic thinking skills. * Excellent leadership abilities with the capacity to inspire, motivate, and empower teams. * Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. * Deep understanding of regulatory compliance and risk management practices. * Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and operational challenges
