Due to continuing success and expansion, Turner & Townsend are now looking for an experienced Scheduler to provide schedule and planning services on a major construction project in Cork. 

Responsibilities

• Review internal schedules, contractor's schedules, and analyse, review, validate and report on any time impacts, scope change impacts or delay enabling early identification of risks 
• Maintain and monitor master plan schedule
• Prepare and monitor tasks ensuring satisfactory realization of project requirements against the project schedule
• Develop and manage the integrated work breakdown structure for the project 
• Integrate various contract packages into master plan schedule
• Review contractor’s submitted schedule and make recommendations to client
• Prepare regular internal/external weekly and monthly progress report for management and client
• Monitor progress on key delivery milestones and report on compliance in line with the agreed Baseline Programme
• Interact with contractor and verify the project data to update project schedule
• Assess any contractor’s extension of time claim

• >5 years scheduling/planning experience
• Knowledge and experience of all of the main design or project management concepts, tools and techniques
• Expertise in project controls and time/schedule management on major construction projects; preferrebly within the Hi-Tech, Manufacturing, Industrial or other related complex asset types.
• Expert experience level using project scheduling tools
• Ability to coordinate/organise multiple sources of schedule inputs/performance data into a master schedule platform and deliver project/program status reports is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The tenacity and drive to inject value and create solutions.
• Understanding of the financial aspects of a project
• Availability for on-site work
